Villa LeGa (5 Bedroom) in Seminyak is a contemporary-styled, beachfront Bali rental villa, blessed with magnificent unobstructed views of the Indian Ocean. Hidden behind a wall that shields villa guests from prying eyes without taking away from the beach views, the double-storey Villa LeGa is built around a central 12-meter swimming pool, complete with outdoors shower and various water features, which takes up most of the garden space. It boasts five ensuite bedrooms each possessing massive beds and flat TV screens; they are furnished in a simple, elegant style with just a dash of glamour added with sparkling accents on cushions and throws.

The touches of glamour can also be found in the white all-weather loungers and daybeds to be found both around the pool and on the upstairs deck overlooking the ocean. Villa LeGa presents the type of living space that allows you to put your sandy feet up after a walk on the beach, and feel right at home the moment you step inside, without ever compromising on style and taste.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Villa LeGa comprises five air-conditioned bedrooms, two of which are positioned poolside with the other three located upstairs, each with a different colour theme within its soft furnishings, dressing areas and glamorous ensuite bathrooms. A very spacious living and dining room is situated on the ground floor.

Master Bedrooms

There are two master bedrooms at Villa LeGa (bedroom 3 and bedroom 5), both positioned on the upper floor to maximise the view and the sounds of the sea. Bedroom 3 has a timber floor and a soaring roof. Furnished with a canopied king bed and boasting a dressing area and a sitting area with cane sofas and chairs, it is blessed with a wonderful vista of the Indian Ocean and coastline stretching from the Bukit Peninsula to Canggu. The ensuite semi open-air bathroom is fitted with a single washbasin, a walk-in monsoon shower, bathtub and toilet. There is also an open-air deck at the front of the bedroom – accessed via glass doors, or from the balcony that runs alongside –furnished with all-weather rattan sofas.

Bedroom 5 is a huge room with a timber floor and soaring roof. Furnished with a king bed and featuring a sitting area, it also offers magnificent views of the ocean. There is a narrow balcony at the front furnished with two chairs. There is also a spacious dressing area and an ensuite bathroom, which is similar to the bathroom adjoining bedroom 3, but with twin washbasins. The cream walls in the bedrooms are adorned with artwork and there are some interesting local artefacts. Each room is equipped with a safe deposit box, and flat-screen satellite-channel TV and DVD player.

Bedrooms

Bedrooms 1 and 2 on the ground floor are each accessed via sliding glass doors from the pool deck. The rooms are mirror versions of one another, featuring marble floors, ensuite bathrooms and walk-in, well-lit dressing rooms. Each of these bedrooms is furnished with a king size bed draped in snowy netting, a desk and chair, bedside lamps and night tables. Each ensuite bathroom features a non-slip acid marble floor inset with patterns, twin glass washbowls, a walk-in monsoon shower, toilet, and large sunken bathtub with an open roof to one side to create an open air feel.

The slate walls, Palimanan stonework and pebbled surrounds present a multitude of textures. Bedroom 4 is positioned upstairs, and is furnished with a king bed under a soaring roof. It has a closed-in dressing area and views to the beach from a side window. The bathroom is smaller but nevertheless fitted with a standing monsoon shower over the bathtub. The cream walls in the bedrooms are adorned with artwork and there are some interesting local artefacts. Each room is equipped with a safe deposit box, and flat-screen satellite-channel TV and DVD player.

Living & Dining Area

The generously-sized living and dining room has a marble floor and folding glass doors that open to the pool deck, offering guests the choice of air-conditioned comfort (with two, wall-mounted air-conditioners) or tropical open air living. The living area is furnished with a huge, comfortable L-shaped sofa and a glass-topped coffee table, while the dining area is positioned to one side and furnished with a large dining table, which can accommodate twelve people. There is a guest washroom located off the living and dining room.

Kitchen

The open-plan feature kitchen at Villa LeGa is conveniently positioned next to the dining area, linked by a marble-topped service bar. It is fully equipped with an imported oven, three-burner hob, a microwave, and designer appliances including a toaster and espresso/cappuccinomachine. There is also a large fridge and a good selection of utensils and quality tableware. This immaculate kitchen is where the staff will prepare hearty breakfasts, and is also for the use of the guests if required. All other meals are prepared by the staff in the main service kitchen at the back of the property.

Swimming pool & garden

Surrounded by a wall, the neat, flat garden is dominated by a 12 x 4 metre swimming pool with a timber deck on three sides, furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas. The deck is partially shaded by the overhanging roof of the house. Four ancient frangipani trees drop their fragrant blossoms and there is a stone carved mural of galloping horses along one wall. The serene scene is completed with water cascades and ponds

Services

Villa LeGa, boast a dedicated team of staff (their positions and responsibilities outlined below) to service guests in the villa.

The Staff

• One Manager, meets and greets guests on arrival, leads the staffing team to meet the expectations of each guest.
• One Butler & Three housekeeping, in charge of housekeeping, laundry and Food and Beverage service.
• One Cook, trained in local & international cuisine and in charge of the market shopping and preparation of guest meals.
• Three Security Guards, on-duty to ensure the safety and security of the guests, and the premises.
• One Gardener & Pool Attendant, work discreetly in maintaining the landscape and the pool without disturbing the guests.

Food and Beverages

Villa LeGa offers a dining service with groceries charged at cost. There is a suggestion menu, and guests will need to provide some money in advance so that the staff can do the grocery shopping, with receipts provided for reference. The cook can prepare anything from snacks up to four-course dinners, or other requests as required. Western meals are available, but guests are also recommended to sample some of the local Balinese dishes for a cultural experience. The cook will strive to fulfill any special dietary requirements. All beverages are charged per drink, except for wine which is charged by the bottle.

Food and Beverage Charges

Food and beverage items are charged based on grocery cost system.  Guests will need to provide some money in advance and the staff will do the shopping for you and keep the receipts for your reference. Food items and beverage are charged at cost price. Please ask your manager if you wish to check your daily expense.

Special Requests and Dietary Requirements

Should you have a request for a dish not on the menu, or a special dietary requirement, please feel free to ask the chef, who will strive to comply with all of your wishes.

Large Dining Groups

While the villa has large food preparation areas, it is not a restaurant and cannot support each individual guest ordering different foods for same dining periods.  If you have a large group it is advisable that the group dines on the same dish or that you order several dishes to be shared. Please allow at least one day’s notice, and feel free to discuss any requirements with the chef or villa manager.

Spa Services

Guests at Villa LeGa can enjoy a Balinese massage (at extra cost) in the privacy of the villa or poolside within the garden. Traditional Balinese massage is a remedy that has been used by Balinese villagers for many generations to relieve muscular aches and pains and boost circulation after long days of toiling in the rice fields. Using a blend of flower oil and selected herbs, hands-on healing techniques are applied with a combination of skin rolling, gentle palm pressure, long kneading strokes, acupressure and reflexology. Massage treatments are provided by a professional outside spa therapist, and the staff are on hand to assist with appointments.

Location

Villa LeGa is located right next to the beach at Batubelig, a safe upmarket area close to Petitenget and Seminyak on Bali’s south-western coast. This is the most visited part of the island for both tourism and business purposes, and is home to some very classy properties.

Tucked away down a quiet sandy lane, the gates of the villa open to the sweeping beach, renowned for its panoramic views and world-class surf breaks, although the rip currents can make it a bit dangerous for swimming here. The sunsets are legendary and a delight to watch from the villa’s upper terrace, or from the rustic warung (eatery) beside the beach.

A wide choice of internationally-acclaimed restaurants, including the famous Ku De Ta, and La Lucciola are a 10-15 minute stroll along the beach, or alternatively just a short taxi ride away. Other fine dining options in the nearby Petitenget area include Métis, Sardine, Nutmegs at Hu’u, and Sarong. The trendy Seminyak area also boasts numerous designer boutiques, sumptuous spas, chic cocktail lounges and vibrant nightspots. Nearby places of interest include one of Bali’s most sacred Hindu temples, Pura Petitenget, the fourth largest temple in Bali, where some of the most spectacular Balinese ceremonies may often be witnessed. The villa is also convenient for all of Bali’s main shops, malls and tourist attractions, and is only 40 minutes’ drive from the international airport, depending on the traffic.

The location of Villa LeGa offers easy access up to the mountains and rice terraces on Bali’s western slopes; it is just over one hour’s drive from the famous cultural and artistic town of Ubud, and just 10 minutes’ drive from the start of the Sunset Route, gateway to the eastern side of the island. The nearby ‘Nirwana Bali Golf Course’ was designed by Greg Norman, and voted the number 1 golf course in Asia; it is situated beside the dramatic, waved-lashed sea temple of Tanah Lot.For horse lovers, the ‘Umalas Equestrian Centre’ is just a few kilometres away.
